We at Harfield Design use the Microchip microcontrollers for all embedded design. We primarily use the PIC18F, PIC24, dsPIC30, dsPIC33, and PIC32 families for our design work. - The PIC18F family provides general purpose 8 bit microcontrollers having between 18 and 100 pins.
- The PIC24 family provides general purpose 16 bit microcontrollers having between 44 and 100 pins.
- The dsPIC30 family provides 16 bit microcontrollers with dedicated dsp having between 44 and 100 pins.
- The dsPIC33 family provides 16 bit microcontrollers with dedicated dsp having between 44 and 100 pins.
- The PIC32 family provides general purpose 32 bit microcontrollers having between 44 and 100 pins.
