Welcome to the Harfield Design Limited website.  We are a relatively young company specialising in database and software contracting, database and software consultancy, and embedded system design.  We have also recently expanded into the world of content management system design for websites.

Use OpenOffice.orgThe main tool that we use for website design is a content management system (CMS) called "Joomla!".  This allows Harfield Design Ltd to manage your website design and style and you, the website owner, can maintain your own website content.  This provides for fast website design and setup time and allows you, the website owner, to have a very dynamic website as you can modify the actual content within the website yourself, at will and as required without requiring outside assistance or intervention from us or another third party.  The reduced design and setup time and the fact that you maintain your own content means substantial cost savings throught the project life cycle.

 

We can design and administrate SQL Server Databases using SQL Server 6.x/7/2000/2005/2008, either on site or remotely.  We are adept with SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and SSAS.  We have programming staff available for PHP/MySQL, .NET (all versions), and VB1/2/3/4/5/6 systems software design and support.  We also have staff that can design embedded hardware and firmware systems to your requirements using the Microchip PIC18/PIC24/PIC32 and dsPIC30/dsPIC33 families of microcontrollers.
